First full day of the IMCAS Asia 2019 meeting completed. Plenty of new ideas and even met up with colleagues from the UK
Just finished the afternoon list. Diaa Othman our BAPRAS/BAAPS aesthetic fellow was able to observe lower blepharoplasties with fat repositioning, prominent ear correction using a suture technique and breast augmentations with sub glandular/fascia pockets and then with a submuscular dual plane technique. We had a good discussion about decision making in surgical technique.
Hi everyone I am taking part in a fairly daunting 333km (207 mile) cycle ride from London to Bristol between Sunrise and Sundown on the 28th of June. I will be doing this with a group form Spire Healthcare and we are hoping to raise a large amount of money for charity. Our chosen charities…
It was an honour to be invited by colleagues in Northern Ireland to run a workshop on ‘R’ face and neck lift. It was organised by Mr Abid Rashid.
Just completed the Nove Colli cycle challenge James and Paolo did the full route 9 hills and 4000 vertical meters of climbing and the 205kms Alastair Ash and Chris did the 4 hills 130kms and 2000meters of vertical climbing. Great day in Italy and fabulous organisation and hospitality from Paolo Matteucci.
I feel very privileged to be able to make a difference to people. This review is very special as it emphasises how hard we try not to give unrealistic expectations to patients and not to put any pressure on patients to have any treatment.
It’s always lovely to get a review that recognises that good surgery and good outcomes can only be achieved with a team effort.
What a lovely start to the week with Heather Sharlene and Nerys at the Spire Hesslewood theatres. Here we can look after patients having local anaesthetic procedures such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, skin cancer, moles and cysts (to name a few)
Enjoying great Italian food at Al Porto Italian restaurant at Hull marina and catching up with Emma-Jane from Motiva with my Hull Plastic Surgeons colleagues Riaz James and Ash.
